This is a replica of a giraffe.
The trash art sculptures are individual pieces that were handmade by the artist Patrick Kasaira. The works of art are made of colorful and dark recycled metals. Since the sculptures are made of different colored painted metals, the two sides of the sculpture can each have different colors. Please contact us if you have any special requests.
Due to the individual handcraft and the materials used, each sculpture can vary in shape and color from the pictures shown.
The artist Patrick Kasaira was born in Zimbabwe and has been interested in the art of welding since an early age. He now uses collected metals to create sculptures of various African animals with great craftsmanship. You can find more information about Patrick Kasaira here .
The sculptures are suitable for indoor and outdoor use and are painted accordingly. If they are to be kept outdoors permanently, the artist recommends treating the object once a year with a transparent varnish or commercially available linseed oil to ensure its longevity.
