We at the SOUL OF AFRIKA gallery are proud of our two-year anniversary! And we want to celebrate it with YOU!

On Friday and Saturday, June 7th and 8th, we invite you to Lindwurmstrasse 157, 80337 Munich, for a celebration dedicated to art.

Our highlight on Friday is a vernissage by contemporary artist Pepito Anumu. Between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m., the Togolese native will be presenting a selection of his paintings. In an impressive interplay of color and material, he expresses his connection to his home continent. With strong colors and strong contrasts, the artist tells stories about life in Togo.

On Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the focus will be on the artists who have been the heart of the SOUL OF AFRIKA gallery for two years. Impressive paintings by Sarah Danes Jarrett, Vivian Timothy, Gerhard Van der Westhuizen, Blaise Vernyuy and Kyle Jardine and captivating prints by Linnea Frank, Richard Scott and Johan Alberts are on display in our gallery. In addition to these, you will also find impressive sculptures by Bryan Cusack, Carey Carter and Patrick Kasaira, as well as photographs by Nigel Whitehead in our premises. We offer you a wealth of works of art that will make every art lover's heart beat faster.

This weekend is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the beauty and creativity of Africa and to honor those who bring it to life through their art. Without these artists, the first gallery for contemporary African art in Munich would not exist!
