The artwork is about the need for climate protection. As friends of the earth, we must help our planet now because it is not in good shape. This becomes clear when you take a closer look at the signs that the figures are holding. With calls such as "Save mother earth" or "Climate Action now", the artist calls on everyone to take action for the environment.
Blaise Vernyuy was born in Cameroon and developed a passion for drawing at an early age. As an artist, he focuses on Afro-abstract figurative paintings that incorporate symbolic elements of African culture and short texts from heads of state and protest movements. Blaise Vernyuy has participated in various exhibitions and hopes that his art will remind world leaders of their obligations and inspire people to work for a better world. His motto is: "Ordinary people become extraordinary by doing extraordinary things." Find out more about the artist Blaise Vernyuy here .
The work of art transports the inimitably powerful pulse of a modern Africa into your rooms. This spirit can unfold not only in your living room, but also in your office, your waiting room or your agency. We select all exhibits directly from Africa because we want to act as ambassadors for contemporary artists living in Africa. In order to give something back to nature in Africa, we donate a portion of every purchase to selected African animal protection projects.
All our works can be viewed and picked up at the SOUL OF AFRIKA gallery at Lindwurmstraße 157, 80337 Munich.
