The artwork is about the destruction of the Amazon rainforest. The lungs of the earth are being systematically cleared by people who will do anything for money. The voices from the Amazon are fighting against capitalism, which is gradually destroying their homeland. With this, the artist Blaise Vernyuy wants to appeal to everyone to work to preserve the rainforest.

Blaise Vernyuy was born in Cameroon and developed a passion for drawing at an early age. As an artist, he focuses on Afro-abstract figurative paintings that incorporate symbolic elements of African culture and short texts from heads of state and protest movements. Blaise Vernyuy has participated in various exhibitions and hopes that his art will remind world leaders of their obligations and inspire people to work for a better world.
