Linnea Frank
Linnea Frank is a Swedish-born artist who now lives in Cape Town, South Africa. She is internationally known for her unique photography style, which she immortalizes in fashion editorials as well as in her striking and often very large photo art prints on metal. All of Linnea's prints are only available in strictly limited editions.
After her studies, Linnea worked for 3 years as an assistant to the Swedish star photographer Bingo Rimér before opening her own studio in central Stockholm.
Her diverse client base includes artists such as musician Wyclef Jean. Linnea has also worked artistically with brands such as Jack Daniels Whisky.
In 2014, a new chapter began for Linnea: she decided to sell everything she owned and move to the creative and colorful city of Cape Town, South Africa. This decision had an incredibly positive impact on her work as an artist, as it complemented, inspired and influenced many of her works with African symbolism and imagery.
Linnea's first exhibition was in 2011 at "Konstrundan" - an open studio event that has been a well-established tradition in southern Sweden for several years. Since then, she has exhibited her art several times a year, both in Sweden and South Africa.
