Pepito Anumu

Pepito Anumu was born in Porto Seguro, Togo in 1970. For political reasons he had to leave his homeland and after several stops he ended up in Freising.

Today he has been dedicated to painting for many years. In the interplay of color and material, the artist expresses his connection to his home continent of Africa. His pictures tell stories of life with strong colors and strong contrasts. He has attracted attention with various exhibitions in Germany, Austria and the Netherlands over the last thirteen years.

In addition to his work as an artist, he also leads creative workshops for children and young people.
